And as explained last episode, the rain and wind are still continuing to heavily whack my house, and I’m doing all I can to actually noise cancel it out. Today Zoey encounters Dr Roache 2.0, a different Jason as it were, but also, the same Jason in many ways. And the question here is, how do you convince a person you knew and possibly loved from a different reality…that you know them, and there’s something bigger going on in the reality that they’re in? Now seeing as Sherlock Holmes is completed, until I find some more episodes to remaster, I’m moving onto The Adventures of Philip Marlowe. This series sees us follow the adventures of a private eye, a detective, based on the hit selling books written in 1939.
Titled the Hard BOILED Crime story collection – with the lead Philip Marlowe himself, a wisecracking, hard-drinking, tough private eye, Marlowe is contemplative, philosophical and loves chess and poetry. Unafraid of danger or physical harm, he does not dish out violence merely to settle scores, but to teach those who pit themselves against him, a lesson.
